About Jean: I have always had a “scientific” mind. Even as a child, I was fascinated with how things work, and the interaction of the elements. While other kids were playing with newly gotten gifts, I was busy disassembling them to see exactly how they were put together. That fascination transferred into my adult life in the form if careers. I was in civil engineering for many years, then after the birth of my daughter, I became a high school science teacher. I am intrigued with physics, chemistry and biology and my telescope is kept at the ready. I know there are many mysteries in this world, and I am anxious to explore them all.
